Growth & Privacy Design @Microsoft
Time: 2019 - Present (5+ years)
A fruit ripens, sweet unveiled.
As one of the 20 designers on the Microsoft E+D Growth team, I spent 5 years growing from a mid-level designer to a design lead. I tackled growth projects across all user lifecycle stages, including acquisition, activation / onboarding, engagement, upsell, and retention for Microsoft 365 premium apps, freemium apps, and Microsoft 365 Copilot. I also led the design of a Microsoft company-wide privacy project.
In my final year, I took on management and culture work, leading a 3-designer project team and our cross Design and Research culture team, organizing learning sessions and team-building activities, fostering growth, collaboration, and a strong sense of unity to help our team thrive together.
One. Era of AI - Copilot Growth
As one of the five leads for Microsoft Experience & Device Growth Design Team, I help driving the Copilot product growth by implementing a strategic upsell framework focused on limit-based upsell, value-driven upsell, viral adoption with social proof, and ensuring a coherent user experience across all consumer and commercial users.

Two. Microsoft 365 - My Benefits
I’ve driven growth and retention of Microsoft 365 apps by managing the freemium growth design team, boosting conversion rates through subscription page redesign, and enhancing user engagement and retention through lifecycle messaging framework.
This project focus on engagement, where we help paid users to maximize Microsoft 365 premium subscriber benefits.
Three. Privacy - Unified Consent
I led the design of GDPR-compliant user experiences, Age Appropriate Design Code (AADC) regulation modification, launched a personalized ads control feature.
In this project, I led the design, and teamed up with partners the "Unified Consent" privacy framework across Microsoft products, enhancing user privacy and experience.
Collaborative Platform Interaction Design @Bluescape
Time: 2018 - 2019
I begin my journey, with wisdom gained.
At Bluescape, we have a four people design team. I worked as the sole designer support multiple product teams, enhancing user experiences across Portal, Mobile, and Web/Wall Workspaces. My responsibilities included designing digital workspaces, improving mobile app features, and leading design sprints for future products.
I also created and maintained the Bluescape Design System, including a shared sketch library, typography, iconography, and color palettes, ensuring consistency across all platforms and products.

A team researched and developed concepts for making YouTube more interactive, and people could communicate, participate, contribute, and create more meaningful discourses without creating videos.
